Something I don't normally share on my blog...a photo of me. ;-) My hubby & I were out walking around Sunday afternoon checking out potential sites to build our house - still a couple years down the road - but hubby is working hard on designing it.

This little elf has sat on my parents Christmas tree for as long as I can remember. Growing up we were told he worked for Santa & told him if we were good or not. I loved this little elf. In fact, one of the first things I bought for our first Christmas tree once we were married was our very own elf which I put on our tree each Christmas.

I had gone outside minutes before & seen the sunset bathing my in-laws house in color. It was so pretty. By the time I ran inside to grab my camera & got back out - the sun had sunk so low the color was gone. I tried to capture it behind the trailer but it certainly isn't my best effort.
