THESE are apple blossoms!!! There are a few trees on the front lawn of my hubby's granddad's house. I went over yesterday to snap the photos. The were alive with bees buzzing & even a hummingbird flitting around.
Does your tree make a mess of the yard? My mom has one of those and they are tiny crabapples or something and they are so hard to go around and pick up in the fall when the apples start to drop.
Cynthia - we have a huge yard. I don't really notice much of a mess. The white blossoms are regular apples though. I think... Crab apples have the purple blossoms. I'm on the lookout for one of those as they are absolutely beautiful in full bloom.

Some day I want to plant an apple tree. I LOVE their blossoms.
