Nothing says summer more than a tire swing - even if it's a plastic one. My boys love this swing. We originally had it hung up with a rope. It broke a few months ago. We then hung it up by this chain. That broke too after a little while of use. It was fixable as well. The boys spend hours out here. Poor B is starting to get a bit too big for it. Notice that there is no grass whatsoever anywhere near it. Needless to say, it gets hours of use by all three boys.

Oh, we need a tire swing! You're right, those are huge favorites. We don't have any trees in the yard at this house that would work. Maybe out on the property.
Thanks for the great idea! I have friends who put up gymnastic rings from a huge tree in their front yard (lived out in the country). Their son could do all sorts of amazing tricks and feats with those rings. It built up incredible strength in him. I've always wanted to find a place for something like that since I saw the kids have a great time trying them out.
