Help me out here. This bird was at my grandmother's feeder today while I was cleaning. I have never seen a bird that looked like this before. What is it???
It is a Rose-Breasted Grosbeak. It looks identical to the one in my DK BIrds of New England book. How cool to see this bird. I will be looking ofr one here in MA!

based on its beak, it looks like a finch...but I'm still trying to identify further
