We have lived here almost four years. I've tried & tried to get a good photo of deer as there is a herd that hangs out around our house. They always take off at the slightest noise so it's been hard. Today as I headed out to errands - around 9 am no less - I saw some about to cross the road. I slowed down & grabbed my camera (thank goodness I had it with me!!!). They ended up stopping & looking back at me so I was able to get this photo with my zoom all the way out. I'm SO happy with this photo!!!!

How majestic.
It is a great photo! You are lucky to have such beauty to see these things so often.
Yeah! You got pictures of them!!!!Very good ones too!
Wildlife are hard to capture. Someone told me the other day that the professional wildlife photographers use remote cameras, so they can take pictures from far away. They even use some motion sensor cameras. I had pictured them waiting behind a blind for hours to get that perfect picture. LOL.
