January 25

Today warranted a multi-photo post. I took 17 photos today & there were three that just had to be shared on this blog.

The first is yet another deer photo. Two days in a row!!! This photo was actually taken right in our driveway. We were leaving this afternoon to go visit my mom & niece & this deer was walking off to the left of us. I stopped thinking it would run off but it stopped to look back & check us out. I was able to snap four photos with my zoom all the way out again. I like how it came out.

Then we arrived at my parents house & they had a small belated party for my youngest. He's got this candle blowing thing down pat now! Check out those cheeks!

Finally, my Mom & I headed to this really neat store in the next town over. It's an old-fashioned hardware store - at least I think so. They stock everything from gift items to organic food, to grains & feed for animals. I wanted to browse some but I was also looking for a gift for my older sister whose birthday was four days ago. (I found one btw.)

I took this photo of one of the store cats. It was laying on this burlap sack in front of a nice cozy fire. They were both very friendly & I missed the chance to take of photo of the first cat I came across so I made sure to grab my camera out for this one.
I've been very pleased in the last few days that I have been remembering to bring my camera with me.

When we lived in IN we always saw so many deer . . here is in Florida we don't see them that often.

GREAT shots!

(Yes, Emily, but you have things like alligators . . . or is it crocodiles???)

Wow--this cat looks just like my sister's! I posted a pic of it on my blog the other day.

Lisa, is this the cute little store in D-F? One of my favorite place to visit.
